Client Focus and Specializations 

Danielle is dedicated to helping young professionals gain clarity on their values and work towards their personal objectives of growth and change. So often, individuals feel stuck in unhelpful behavior patterns or a life that looks good on paper, but feels unsatisfying. Danielle works collaboratively with her clients to develop new strategies for addressing these issues in a more productive and meaningful way. Danielle specializes in the treatment of anxiety and depression with a special interest in working with individuals who are coping with life transitions, career uncertainty, relationship difficulties, stress management, trauma, and grief and loss. Her approach to therapy is authentic, warm, and non-judgmental and centers around building a trusting relationship with the client. 



Danielle utilizes the following evidenced-based treatment modalities:

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), 
  • Motivational Interviewing (MI), 
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and 
  • Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). 



Originally from Connecticut, Danielle received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Connecticut. She then went on to receive her Masters in Social Work from Southern Connecticut State University and became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Danielle brings several years of experience supporting individuals in both outpatient and residential settings around issues of anxiety and depression, grief support, substance abuse, trauma, and life transitions. Most recently she served as the director of a local residential program focused on anxiety and depression. She is excited about transitioning to private practice so she can focus on her passion of working with young adults.
